An Award-Winning Wine Cellar in Dumfries & Galloway

Wine is an integral part of the dining experience at Knockinaam Lodge. Our 3 AA Rosette restaurant near Portpatrick is home to a carefully curated cellar of more than 400 wines.

The collection brings together benchmark producers and mature vintages from the classic regions of Europe. Alongside these, you will find exciting discoveries from the New World and beyond. Our cellar continues to evolve throughout the year, with a particular focus on Champagne and fine wine.

The wine programme is led by General Manager and sommelier Callum McCann. Each selection is made to complement our seasonal menus and the exceptional produce found across Dumfries & Galloway.

Wine Pairings & Wines by the Glass

A sommelier-selected wine pairing is available alongside our tasting menu. Each wine is chosen to complement the flavours and ingredients of the individual course.

We also use Coravin to offer an evolving selection of fine and rare wines by the glass. As a result, guests can explore exceptional bottles without committing to a full bottle.

Whether you are looking for a familiar favourite or something new, our team is always happy to offer guidance. Alternatively, let us help you choose a special bottle from the cellar to complete your dining experience.

Beyond wine, our bar offers seasonal cocktails, whisky and a carefully selected range of premium spirits.
